In the meantime, here are some cute things Hannah has said recently:
- "Mommy, I'm cold. I sugared (shivered)."
- "Daddy, you can't eat my tummy! It's not yogurt!" (Said while wrestling with Daddy.)
- Upon taking a frozen cauliflower out of the bag--"It's like a cloud!"
- Elanor had her little hands clasped together. Hannah noticed this and went over to her, put her hands over Elanor's and proceeded to sing the "God, our Father" prayer. Then looked up at me said "We're praying together!"
- Hannah noticed how the birds were all puffed up on one of these cold days. I explained to her how they do that to capture the air in their feathers to keep them warm. In her concern over the birds she said "I'm going to open the door and blow my breath outside so they can catch some warm air in their feathers and be warm!"
Elanor is discovering her toes. When I change her diaper and hold her legs up she grabs at them. When she catches them in her hand she giggles and giggles! It's so cute. She is also really concentrating on grabbing her toys with her hands-- gathering them to her with both hands and of course sticking everything straight in her mouth. She continues to delight us with how much she smiles and giggles and talks to us. She really lives up to her name and brings rays of precious light into our every day.
I'll be back after the photo books are done! :)
