Home Sweet Home
This is a little belated but just wanted to say that we are all home safe and sound. Now that we are over the fog and extreme exhaustion of jet lag it is SO good to be home. There is so much that I miss about being in Kenya-- mainly being so close to my family for such an extended time, but it is also so sweet to be home.
Big news: we finally broke down and just got ourselves a new computer! We are so excited and feel so good about this decision. We are still in the process of getting it all set up and running how we want but soon there will be pictures and more posts I promise!
Just a fun tidbit to close-- Hannah's newest favorite activity is dancing like a wild creature to "rock and roll." She runs to Shawn's library of cd's, picks one out and asks if it is "fast rock and roll". If it's not it immediately gets discarded for another choice. She knows how to work the stereo now so she also will just pick out cd's, listen to them for a moment to see if they're up to her standard and if so she'll break out into dance. Her current favorite (the location of which she has memorized) is , (drum roll please) Nirvana's "Teen Spirit". I can't believe my daughter at 30 months is in love with Nirvana. Her second favorite is Weezer. What does this forebode about her teenage years????
Help! :)
